His main research fields are reproductive immunology and perinatal medicine. Committed to the research and clinical work of recurrent abortion, premature birth, hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy and FGR, reaching the leading domestic and international advanced level, writing the Consensus on Diagnosis and Treatment of Recurrent Abortion organized by Chinese Medical Association, and participating in the compilation of the Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment of Premature Birth and many other national expert consensuses. He has presided over and undertaken 3 National Natural Science Funds, 1 National Science and Technology Research Program, more than 10 Natural Science Fund projects of Guangdong Provincial Health Department and Guangdong Science and Technology Commission, and 2 horizontal funds. As the sub-project leader, he participated in more than 10 key projects of National Natural Science Fund, National Natural Science Fund projects, Guangdong Health Department and Guangdong Science and Technology Commission, and presided over a "5010" clinical research project of Sun Yat-sen University.
