After graduated from Zhongshan Medical Collage, Guangzhou, China in 1976, she has worked as resident, attending doctor, associate professor and professor in Radiology department of the 2nd Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences (SUMS). During 1989-1990 she has granted the Master Degree in Radiology, and granted the Fellowship of WHO, became the fellow of Skeletal Radiology, both in University of Lund, Lund, Sweden and University of San Diego, U.S.A.. From 1995, she has been appointed the chair of Radiology department, Sun Yat-sen memorial hospital, has accepted the Member of International Skeletal Society and International Society of Magnetic Resonance Medicine. After that, she had been appointed Vice-president，Guangdong Provincial Radiology Society 2005-2013, the President of Guangdong Provincial Radiologist Association 2002-2010, the Vice-President of Chinese Radiologist Association 2010-2014,and the Vice-President of Chinese Society of Neuro-oncology 2015.
