Fengyan Yu is a Professor of Department of Breast Surgery at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. She is keen to address scientific questions derived from clinical practice and has abundant experience on breast surgery and basic research. She is leading more than four ongoing national research projects including National Science Foundation of China, Fok Ying-Tong Education Foundation for Young Teachersin, the Higher Education Institutions of China, etc. She has published more than 20 SCI research articles (total IF>150), including Cell, Cancer Cell, etc. In addition, she was invited to make keynote speech at many international oncology conferences and she has received numerous honors, including Top ten progress of Science and Technology in the universities of China (the main Accomplisher), New Century Excellent Talents, Ministry of Education of China, Hesheng Pearl River Outstanding Young Teacher Award, Sun Yat-sen University, National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of PR China and Distinguished Young Scholar, Guangdong Natural Science Funds.
