Professor Chen Qingyu has over thirty years’experience in clinical medicine, medical education and scientific research. She has a particular clinical interest in preventative medicine and geriatric medicine. She has been focusing on these fields, leading the VIP department providing these services and delivering high quality healthcare to the community for over twenty years. As one of the founding committee members of Society of Health Management of Chinese Medicine Association, vice president of Guangdong Society of Medicine and Health care, Precision Medicine Association and Chinese Hospital Association, she is an avid health advocate and is actively involved in research of preventative medicine and chronic disease management. In her everyday clinical practice, she creates personalised regular check-up programs and follow-up plans for patients and refers patients to appropriate specialties in a timely fashion. She takes a holistic approach and specialises in prevention, screening, diagnosis and management of major non-communicable diseases, including obesity, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, diabetes, gout, fatty liver disease, osteoporosis, and major cancers.
