SYSMH Inaugurates New Administrative Leadership Team

On February 14, 2026, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital (SYSMH) convened a meeting to announce and inaugurate its new administrative leadership team.

Gao Song, Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and President of Sun Yat-sen University, attended the event and delivered a speech. The university officially released the appointment list: Chen Yangxin was appointed President of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital. Yao Herui, Tang Yamei, Chen Suijun and Huang Hai were appointed Vice Presidents. The former administrative leadership team has stepped down upon the new appointments.

The meeting was attended by hospital senior management, assistant presidents, and representatives from clinical and administrative departments across the hospital.
