Specialties: Proficient in 32P plaque therapy for keloids and hemangiomas; 131I therapy for hyperthyroidism and thyroid cancer; comprehensive management of thyroid disorders; 89Sr and 223Ra for bone metastasis pain palliation; 177Lu-PSMA for refractory prostate cancer; and PET/CT-based precision oncological diagnosis.
Research Focuses: Radiopharmaceutical development, gut-microbiome interactions in thyroid diseases, AI-driven nuclear medicine imaging, low-dose radiation tumor microenvironment, and human radiation dosimetry.
Academic Appointments: Member of the Nuclear Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association; Vice Chair of the Guangdong Society of Nuclear Medicine; and Standing Committee Member of multiple provincial professional societies.
Dr. Li has led 27 research projects funded by prestigious agencies, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation, and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, among others. She has published 104 papers in total, with 45 SCI-indexed articles as first or corresponding author. Dr. Li holds a joint PhD from Tongji University and Harvard University.
