Specialties: Diagnosis and treatment of brain, spinal cord, nerve and muscle disorders; management of rare, complicated and critical neurological conditions; extensive experience and in-depth research in the prevention and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases, with a particular focus on stroke.
Dr. Wang has been engaged in medicine, teaching and research work in the Department of Neurology since July 1991. With particular experience and in-depth research on the prevention and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases, he has acted as an active promoter and organizer, and played an important role in the establishment of the Stroke Center and the operation of the Stroke Green Channel. As the first applicant, he has obtained more than 10 national and provincial scientific research grants. Moreover, he has published more than 50 academic papers (including nearly 20 SCI papers) as the first or corresponding author, edited or co-edited 6 academic monographs, and independently supervised more than 20 graduate students.
