Specialties: Sophisticated breast surgical and personalized oncological treatments, including core clinical expertise in high-difficulty breast-conserving surgery, sentinel lymph node biopsy, oncoplastic breast tumor reconstruction, and precise surgical localization of breast lesions such as calcifications, as well as individualized management for young-onset breast cancer and precision targeted therapy for metastatic breast cancer supported by breast cancer genetic testing. 

Dr. Gong has rich international research experience, having completed postdoctoral training at INSERM U756 in France and visiting scholar fellowships at Cardiff University School of Medicine in the UK and INSERM U1151/Necker Institute in France. As a principal investigator, she has led key research projects including one National Key R&D Program project and one National Science and Technology Innovation 2030 Initiative project, alongside seven NSFC projects, seven provincial and ministerial grants, and two CSCO grants. A recipient of multiple prestigious youth talent awards at national and provincial levels, she also earned the Second Prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Award (first completer) and holds 20 authorized patents. She has published 36 papers as corresponding-author in top-tier journals including BMJ, J Clin Invest, and Cell Reports Medicine, with a total of 2771 citations and four highly cited papers, focusing on basic and translational research, early detection, and precision diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
