Overview

Professor Chen Yajin is the director of hepatobiliary surgery department of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. He is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of various complicated and difficult abdominal diseases, especially in the fields of laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery of the liver, biliary tract and pancreas diseases. He is one of the most famous laparoscopic liver surgeons in China, and puts forwards the standard process of laparoscopic liver surgery allover the world. In 2013, for the first time he finished laparoscopic-assisted associating liver partition and portal vein ligation for staged hepatectomy(LP-ALPPS) in Asia. His professional affiliations includes:
