SYSH Honored as "National Model Hospital for Cultural Construction and Renovation”

Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hospital (SYSH), Sun Yat-Sen University, was granted with the title of “National Model Hospital for Cultural Construction and Renovation” at the Urban Hospital Session of Chinese Work Promotion Conference for Moral and Ethics in Health Care System, in Suzhou City, China, from November 29th to December 1st.

With a history of 178 years, Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hospital not only lives up to its core value of “Patient Comes First”, but also focuses on strengthening its own culture. Closely relating cultural construction to the education of medical moral and ethics, the hospital persists in spreading the traditional concept of serving the people, healing the wounded and rescuing the dying, as well as taking humanitarian action. Meanwhile, a scientific combination of medical benevolence and modern management system has been applied in the hospital to form a unique cultural environment. An improvement of soft power has enhanced the hospital’s core competitiveness, and accelerated its harmonious development.
