In February 2026, Prof. Wang Jingfeng from the Department of Cardiology, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital (SYSMH), was elected Chairman of the Ninth Committee of the Chinese Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology (CSPE). His clinical practice involves specialized procedures such as cardiac device implantation and interventional treatment for coronary artery disease, along with the comprehensive management of critical cardiac cases. He has made significant contributions to preventing sudden cardiac death and treating heart failure with devices like pacemakers. Recently, he has pioneered several new clinical techniques that now set a national benchmark in the field.
Prof. Wang Jingfeng has secured 8 projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and has led numerous other key research programs. With over 100 publications in SCI-indexed journals, his work has earned multiple provincial and ministerial awards for scientific and technological progress.
